Invest in the Future of Purdue Triangle!
During the 2024 Annual Homecoming Alumni meeting, Oak Stevens presented a new tax-deductible option for donating to Purdue Triangle and helping meet our long-term Vision and Mission. See below for a summary of the donation options now available.
Purdue Triangle Voluntary Alumni Dues
Purdue Triangle “Voluntary Alumni Dues” donations allow the Chapter Alumni Association to fund programs for Alumni engagement, including emails, newsletters, the
Alumni website (purduetriangle.com), Homecoming and Grand Prix events, and supporting the Actives in new member recruitment. We utilize the “GiveButter”
charitable-giving website” to collect these funds and note that Voluntary Alumni Dues are not tax deductible. See link below to donate:

Purdue – “Purdue Leadership and Educational Housing Fund”
The new Purdue Leadership and Educational Housing Fund (PLAEHF) allows tax-deductible donations for scholarships, educational programs, and Chapter House improvements apportioned by the living space dedicated to “educational” purposes. This new fund is a non-endowed Fund, where after a nominal 5% fee by National for maintaining the fund, 100% of the remaining donation is available for qualified expenses approved by the Chapter Alumni Board and meeting the educational
requirements defined by the Internal Revenue Service. The PLAEHF is administered by Triangle Education Foundation (TEF) and contributions may be made directly
on their website, or by directing your contribution from your checking account, your brokerage account or your IRA to the PLAEHF via Triangle Educational
Foundation. (Note: for Alums over age 70 and one-half, the “Qualified Charitable Donation” option may provide tax advantages).
The TEF website supports all Triangle Chapters, so we have provided the attached documents to help navigate the site to ensure your donation is applied to the PLAEHF
for our Chapter:

Purdue – “Class of 1953 Chapter Endowment Fund”
The Chapter Endowment Fund (CEF) is a restricted fund to support the educational activities of a specific chapter by proving annual grants to the chapter. These grants may be used for scholarships, educational programs, leadership development initiatives, and for improvements to educational spaces in the chapter house. The Purdue Chapter CEF is administered by The Triangle Education Foundation at Triangle National. An annual grant of up to 5% of the fund’s value can be made to support qualified initiatives for the Chapter. Funds are dispersed to the Chapter by CEF Grant Applications and approvals. Contributions to the Purdue CEF are tax deductible.

New Career Mentoring Program
Recently, the Alumni Board approved an Alumni mentoring program, and we are now in the start-up phase of this exciting new program. Being a STEM fraternity with over 100 years on campus, our Alumni base is uniquely positioned. We have about 1500 living Alumni with thousands of years of career experience in the professions our new graduates will begin. Our potential to mentor, guide, and connect professional networks for the career development of these young men is beyond comparison. We believe this program could become a tremendous competitive advantage in the future for recruiting new members and the overall brand image of Purdue Triangle!
